Jamie Devera serves as our firm’s Tax Accountant. She works with all of our accounting clients and assists with individual and corporate tax preparation. Jamie earned her bachelor’s degree in Economics and Accounting from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

During her undergraduate career, she was a member of UCSB’s Accounting Association, the CPA/Law Society of Ventura County, and Kapatirang Pilipino, an Asian & Pacific Islander organization. She also attended the University of California, San Diego as part of the Intercampus Visitor Program in order to take additional economics and accounting courses. Prior to joining Abbo Tax, Jamie developed a strong background in administration, accounting, and customer service while working for multiple non-profit organizations. She was an intern at Kobe Bryant’s Basketball Academy for two years, where she provided assistance to the directors in administration, security, inventory, and human resources.

She also volunteered as an office assistant at the San Diego Regional Center, which provides support services to people with developmental disabilities in San Diego and Imperial Counties. Jamie is in the process of applying for her CPA license.
