Heather Judy is a director in Katz, Sapper & Miller’s State and Local Tax Group. She has been with the firm since 2006. Heather provides a variety of tax compliance and consulting services in the areas of property tax, multistate sales and income taxes, business incentives, and other state taxes. Her experience includes assisting clients with property tax compliance, appeals, audit defense, property tax abatement, and various multistate incentive programs. 

Prior to joining the firm, Heather worked at a Big 4 firm for six years. While there her experience included audit and assurance, general tax compliance, and property tax compliance.

EDUCATION

Heather received Bachelor of Science degrees in accounting and computer information systems from Indiana University. She also has a Master of Accountancy degree from the University of Virginia. Heather is a Level III Appraiser and has received her Indiana Tax Representative certification.

ASSOCIATIONS AND COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

Heather is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Indiana CPA Society. Additionally, she is board secretary for Christian Youth Theater of Indianapolis.
