Andrew Goodman is a director in Katz, Sapper & Miller's Audit and Assurance Services Group. Andrew helps clients navigate the ever-changing environment of financial reporting and operational controls, helping to ensure they are up-to-date on best practices and making profitable business decisions. Advising clients in a multitude of industries including manufacturing, transportation, and sports and entertainment, Andrew’s particular focus is in construction, where he serves as a member of KSM’s Construction Services Group.

Andrew also has experience leading fraud examinations and internal controls consulting engagements. These engagements consist of internal control and risk assessments, fraud detection, and the use of data analytics to quantify, detect, and advise clients as to the most effective methods to detect and mitigate threats. Additionally, he has experience with various buy-side financial due-diligence projects.

EDUCATION

Andrew graduated with distinction from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and finance.

 

He has also earned the prestigious Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP) designation, which is an indication of his expertise in the area of construction financial management.

ASSOCIATIONS AND COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

Andrew is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the Indiana CPA Society, and the Construction Financial Managers Association (CFMA). He serves on the finance committee for Notre Dame ACE Academies in Indianapolis, an organization which seeks to provide a Catholic education of the highest quality to children in under-served communities. Additionally, Andrew is a member of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, Ducks Unlimited, and the National Wild Turkey Federation.
