Ron began his public accounting career in 1985 and focuses his efforts on personal and business taxation with a specialization in agriculture, real estate, banking, closely-held businesses and state taxation. Ron's business and banking experience includes mergers and acquisitions, regulatory consulting and compliance services.

Ron holds a Master of Professional Accountancy (MPA) degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and, in addition, has received the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation.

Ron has served as president of the Nebraska Chapter and treasurer of the North Central Regional Council of the Institute of Management Accountants and on the Board of Directors of Isco, Inc. He previously served on the Board of the Groundwater Foundation and on the Board of Trustees of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln School of Accountancy. He currently serves on the boards of the St. Paul United Methodist Church Foundation and the Food Bank of Lincoln. Ron is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Nebraska Society of Certified Public Accountants.
