I provide practical, proactive business advice, and audit and tax services, to ensure my clients are updated and ahead of the curve. Many of my clients are cities, counties, and special-purpose governments, as well as general, heavy/highway, and specialty trade contractors.

While I’ve always been a numbers guy, it’s the great staff and clients who attracted me to — and keep me in — this career. I love the relationships that we get to build and develop. After almost 15 years, I think that’s because I’m constantly thinking of innovative ways to make my clients’ businesses better, whether financially or operationally.

I often speak to industry groups on a variety of topics, including governmental accounting, budgeting, and best practices. I enjoy sharing our firm’s knowledge and expertise. I received a B.B.A. with a concentration in accounting and an M.B.A. with a concentration in finance from the University of Michigan-Dearborn. I belong to the AICPA, the Michigan Association of CPAs, and Michigan Municipal Executives.

In my free time, I enjoy running and spending time with my family. We have three kids, and they keep us busy with all their activities, including soccer, baseball, and swimming.
