Ron Lenz is the partner-in-charge of Katz, Sapper & Miller's Construction Services Group. Since joining the firm in 1985, Ron has served as an advisor to a diverse group of clients. His particular areas of expertise include accounting and auditing matters, tax planning and business structuring, mergers and acquisitions, and succession planning. Ron provides specialized consultation to a variety of construction companies and real estate developers. Additionally, he has experience in the manufacturing, distribution, advertising, and entertainment industries.

EDUCATION

Ron received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Indiana University. He earned the prestigious Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional designation, which is an indication of his expertise in the area of construction financial management.

ASSOCIATIONS AND COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

Ron is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the Indiana CPA Society, the Central Indiana Chapter of the Construction Financial Management Association, and the Construction Industry CPAs/Consultants Association. He serves on the legislative and finance committees of the Indiana Construction Association. Additionally, Ron had the honor of being selected by Building Indiana for inclusion in its “Who’s Who in Indiana” special report.

Ron is currently the treasurer and a past president of ArtMix. He has served on the board of the Ronald McDonald House of Indiana, Inc. and is a member of its strategic planning committee. Ron has also served as a member of the finance committee for Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory School and on the board of St. Elizabeth’s Home. Additionally, Ron is a member of The Alliance, a forum of business leaders and experienced senior decision-makers in privately held, mid-sized companies throughout Indiana. The group’s mission is to help make other member companies profitable by providing networking opportunities and presenting new ideas for members to consider.
