Michael McFarlin served as president of the company from 1992 (when his predecessor, president and founder, Jay Quick, retired) through 2018.  With 43 years as a CPA, Michael has extensive experience in strategic business planning, succession planning, estate planning, commercial audits, corporate mergers, forensic accounting, and litigation.

Michael McFarlin has served on the boards of Omaha non-profit organizations including: Omaha Rotary, Omaha Rotary Foundation, Visiting Nurses Association, Omaha Home for Boys, and the Omaha Chamber of Commerce.

Additionally, he has been active on the corporate boards of Marine Bank–Omaha, and Core Technologies, Inc.

Michael’s professional affiliations include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Nebraska Society of Certified Public Accountants and SPN - Senior Partner Network, (an affiliation of CPA firms with offices in New York, Massachusetts, Michigan, Georgia, Tennessee, Missouri, Texas and Nebraska).

Mr. McFarlin holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Northern Iowa.  He earned his CPA credentials in 1976.

Piloting airplanes, traveling, and playing with his granddaughter are among his favorite activities.
