Jamie Ellis is partner, chief operating officer for Katz, Sapper & Miller. With more than 20 years of experience in managing professional services firms, Jamie oversees the finance, human resources, information technology, marketing, facilities and general operational functions of the firm. Jamie, who began his career as a public accounting auditor, previously served as corporate controller for a subsidiary of a national staffing firm, the chief financial officer of a regional CPA firm, and the chief operating officer of a regional law firm.

EDUCATION

Jamie received his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting, with a minor in economics, from The Pennsylvania State University. He also earned his Master of Business Administration degree from Loyola University of Maryland. Jamie is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Indiana.

ASSOCIATIONS AND COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

Jamie is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Indiana CPA Society. Additionally, he is a member of Financial Executives International. Jamie currently serves on the board of the American Lung Association (ALA) Indiana and is a member of its executive leadership team overseeing the ALA's annual gala. He also serves on the board of PrimeGlobal, one of the world’s largest international associations of accounting firms. Additionally, Jamie is a member of the President's Council for the Indiana Sports Corporation.
