Derek has been providing business valuation services since 2008 and financial advisory services since 2001. He assists companies with valuation services for tax compliance, financial reporting, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, strategic planning, family law, and litigation support. Derek works with clients in a wide array of industries, including manufacturing and distribution, oil and gas, food and beverage, life sciences, and technology.
Derek’s experience includes assignments involving ASC 805 intangible asset valuation and purchase price allocation, ASC 350 goodwill impairment analyses, IRC 409A deferred compensation valuing common stock for privately held companies, pre-acquisition due diligence, and various tax-related valuations. He also assists in valuing complex financial instruments and businesses for corporate litigation and family law disputes.
