David Resnick is the managing partner of Katz, Sapper & Miller, serving in this role since 2002. He has been with the firm since 1982. David is responsible for the strategic vision and leadership of the firm. He is also a management advisor to his numerous clients, offering experience in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, cash management, financing, forecasts and projections, tax planning, and business consultation and structuring. David’s areas of special expertise include accounting for the advertising, distribution, lodging, and service industries.

EDUCATION

David graduated with honors from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and a master’s degree in business administration and finance.

ASSOCIATIONS AND COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

David is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Indiana CPA Society. He currently serves on the boards of United Way of Central Indiana (previously serving as board chair), University of Indianapolis, Arts Council of Indianapolis (previously serving as chairman), IU Health Foundation, Beth-El Zedeck Foundation, Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce, Jewish Federation of Greater Indianapolis, Simon Hillel Center (previously serving as chairman), Greater Indianapolis Progress Committee, and WFYI Foundation (currently serving as chairman). 

David is past president and a lifetime member of the board of directors of Congregation Beth-El Zedeck and was a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization/World Presidents’ Organization. Additionally, he has served on the boards of the Jewish Family and Children’s Services, American Cancer Society, and as treasurer of Broadmoor Country Club, WFYI, and the Indiana University Sigma Alpha Mu Corporation. 

In 2018, David was honored as an outstanding alumni for his long-standing dedication to community service by the Department of Accounting at the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.
